Maxi Dresses To Get You Through Summer

Maxi dresses have it all – casually stylish, feminine, comfy and elegant! They are versatile to wear for lounging at the beach or park; for dressy occasions; for strolling around the mall and even for dates. Long dresses also come in all kinds of gorgeous styles to suit various occasions and personal tastes – from formal events to casual beach wear. Classy to the more fun, eclectic style.

A long dress can also be worn for both summer and winter months. Just switch up the fabric and color – style it differently with boots and jacket – and you’ll look chic and appropriate for the season! For the colder season opt for darker colors and a thicker or luxurious fabric such as velvet and jersey.

How to Style a Maxi Dress?

The best dress style depends entirely on your body figure – and whether you’re tall or short. Some maxi styles look better on some specific body shapes than others. Of course, there are tricks that can make most dresses look better on you such as adding heels and interest – but selecting the right dress style for your body shape eliminates the extra work.
As for the styling part – you can easily change the look and mood of the dress with accessories such jewelry, clutch purses, a scarf and a pair of trendy shoes. Dress it up with sparkles and beads, or dress it down with wardrobe staples like a denim or leather jacket!

    1. Hi Chandralekha,

I am a big fan of maxi dresses and I should say I have a huge collection of maxi dresses as well. Most of the dresses I buy is online. On an average I spend close to 25 – 30$ per dress. That’s a good idea and I will try to cover the price range in my future blogs.
